Alan has more than thirty years' experience as an academic at three Australian universities - WSU, Curtin & RMIT - as well as teaching and research experience at universities in the UK, Canada, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, China & India. He has been an MBA Director & Research Coordinator as well as HRM Program Director. His expertise is in human resource management, international HRM, and comparative Asian HRM. He has more than 150 scholarly publications and has supervised numerous masters and doctoral theses. He is also the Chair of the Australian HR Institute's National Program Accreditation Committee, and his co-authored text - HRM Strategies & Processes (Cengage) is the best-selling Australian text in the area. Current research interests include graduate work-readiness, and AI & the future of work in Australia and the Asia Pacific.
