Research Profile

Dr Chandra Jha is a public health researcher with expertise in community-based approaches to improving health and wellbeing among at-risk populations. His work integrates qualitative and quantitative methods across topics including drug use, HIV/AIDS, harm reduction, migrant and geriatric health, and primary health care. He has led health projects in Nepal and Australia, translating evidence into policy and planning. Dr Jha’s research focuses on chronic illness, addiction, and mental health, with an emphasis on equity and health promotion.
