Two main research interests: Leadership and management (from work experiences); Human locomotion on soft sand (an athletic passion).

Program Director within the Business and Hospitality Faculty. Business experience gained from a variety or roles and contexts including: CEO of Australian Paralympic Committee; CEO of Rowing Australia; GM of Surf Life Saving Australia; Westpac (banking); Albert Shire Council (local government). Publications include 'Leading the Team: The Role of the Chef de Mission at the Paralympic Games', 'Exploring the Development of Passion in Paralympic Athletes', 'A Beachies Dream: A Training Guide for Runners', 'The Name of the Game is Surf-Lifesaving', 'Developing the ideal Club coaching structure', 'Peaking in Sprint Events'.

Education/Academic qualification

Presently enrolled in Phd (UTS); Master of Education (Hons) April 2002 (USQ); Bachelor of Sport Science May 1993 (UNSW); Associate Diploma of Sport Science May 1990 (UOW).
