Personal profile
Research interests
My research agenda is focused on examining how to optimise business value by accounting for social justice issues. In addition to accounting, my scholarship interests are in the fields of finance, economics and human resources. As evidenced by the research projects I currently have in progress, I am particularly interested in understanding how issues of business and social importance intersect. The objective is to assist organisations in developing and implementing business models that provide mutually beneficial resolutions to important social challenges such as improving the financial literacy, health, and sustainability of communities. Specifically, in the field of accounting, I am interested in understanding how social mores become embedded within management controls that advance our ideas of value.
