He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (Charles Sturt University, Australia), a Master of Science in Computer Science (University of Stuttgart, Germany), and a Board Director Diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Dr. Herrmann serves on scientific committees and editorial boards and focuses on business, management, responsible artificial intelligence, competitive tendering and bid management, and mixed methods research with two most-cited journal article awards.
