Jantanee’s research interests include project, program and portfolio management, project management sustainability, competency development in project management, dynamic capabilities in projects and organisations, multi-criteria decision analysis, talent management in projects, project management education, and knowledge management. Since 2010, she has published book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, and refereed conference papers in her fields of interest.

Research Profile

Dr Jantanee Dumrak is a senior lecturer at Torrens University Australia. She is currently supervising PhD and Masters students. Before joining academia, Jantanee managed health development projects funded by the United Nations and the Government of Thailand. Jantanee received a doctoral degree in project management from the University of South Australia. Her thesis focused on sustainable outcomes in development projects and programs in Thailand. The thesis proposed an integrative model for managing development projects in Thailand and other developing countries with similar contexts. Before her academic career at Torrens University, Jantanee worked on a funded project for the University of South Australia to investigate accidents and injury severity in South Australian construction projects. She also delivered a regional development project funded by Primary Industries and Regions South Australia (PIRSA) to link, leverage and maximise the regional development competencies and identify the potential for industry or market-based clusters in the region using a holistic perspective.
