Research Profile

Dr Marcella Meneguello is a multidisciplinary academic committed to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and the real world. As a lecturer in the Community Services Course, she has been promoting reflective and inclusive practices in her subjects by employing a dialogical, creative and student-centred approach. As a Social Justice Research Network member, she has facilitated and applied Photovoice as a participatory action research method to raise awareness, promote critical consciousness and lead to transformative change. Her recent projects include examining the social connections and experiences of loneliness among older CALD migrants, exploring First Nations entrepreneurial narratives, and exploring the lived experiences of Brazilian migrants in Adelaide.
