Research interests

My research interests include the effectiveness of learning and teaching innovations and how to motivate teachers to implement teaching innovations. My PhD was about dopamine in the retina and its role in eye-growth, and I am still fascinated by biochemical processes.

Research Profile

I am currently a Senior Academic Administrator with experience in leading academic teams, contributing to governance and compliance requirements, and to academic future planning. I have a solid and substantial background in University learning and teaching in rural Australian Universities. This experience is further rounded out as Visiting Scholar experiences in the UK and the USA. I am skilled in E-Learning, Research Design, Lecturing, Science, Curriculum Development, TEQSA, and VET regulations. I have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused in Neuroscience from La Trobe University, Bendigo and am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
