Analysis and improvement of machine learning models in Amica

Portable Australia Pty Ltd with co-contribution from Torrens University Australia Ltd

Amica is a project on assisting amicable couples to separate, by providing them the ability to negotiate on dividing their assets, prior to preparing an Agreement for the Family Court. In 2020, Portable Australia Pty Ltd (Portable) was commissioned to build an online tool which would meet these needs, working closely with the Legal Services Commission (LSC) of South Australia. Portable developed the system using synthetic data and their client has been using it in the last two years. We will not use data collected from their users and only work with computer-generated data mimicking different scenarios.
