This project seeks to to critically analyse and enhance tourism, hospitality and event graduates' soft skills directly related to verbal communication with customers. A theoretical model of service language (Scerri, Jenkins, & Lovell, 2017) is being applied and adapted in the form of a contemporary teaching module. Seed funding was awarded for the project by THE-ICE Research Grant (2019).
