Making Trade Transparent

Project Details

Recently China has imposed import bans on 13 Australian agricultural commodities due alleged quality and safety issues. It appears that China has used the 'Sanitary and Phytosanitary' instrument of the World Trade Organization (WTO) to justify the sanctions. China being the largest trading partner of Australia, this sanction has significant implications for Australian economy and jobs. This research aims to develop an AI integrated RFID based traceability solutions to respond to shadow of darkness in exercising the WTO instruments.
