Abstract

This report on the development of the framework is a milestone report for the research project entitled ‘A Supply Chain Management Self-Assessment Framework for Waste Minimisation for the Residential Sector’. The project is funded by the Environmental Protection Agency Waste Fund and is managed by Sustainability Victoria. RMIT University is the lead organisation for this project on behalf of the Australian Housing Supply Chain Alliance. Members of this Alliance who are partners for the project include Metricon, Australand, FMG Engineering, Boral, Master Builders Association Victoria and RMIT University. The project is being undertaken from December 2012 to February 2014. The report documents Stage 2 of the research project which was the first phase of data collection.
