Boosted probabilistic neural network for IoT data classification

Abstract

This paper proposes an intelligent and compact machine learning model called an adaboosted semiparametric probabilistic neural network (PNN) to classify IoT data in heterogeneous and dynamic IoT environment. The classified IoT services can be used to prioritize resource allocations to support critical services. The proposed model is applied to the IoT service classification and shows comparable classification accuracy against the other state-of-The-Art models but at a reduced computational cost.
