Abstract

In the acute health sector within Australia, quality data that is reliable for informing solutions is becoming imperative. Although there is data available, it is not integrated, and the reliability is questionable for the purposes for which it is used. This study was commissioned to explore the reasons for poor data quality and to better understand the solutions to addressing this problem.
