title = "Performance Analysis of Communication Standards in Vehicular Cloud Networks",
abstract = "Revolution in wireless technologies made delinquent and strategic transitions in our professional as well as personal lives. The paper presents, how the latest technologies significantly impact and instigate all kinds of vehicles to be smarter in their function so that driving becomes simpler, safer and smarter, at the same time, travel becomes productive for occupants. Further in this paper a cloud computing based urban traffic control system for VANET using different communication technologies are analysed with respect to optimization of traffic control with increased road throughput and reduced delay for safety of passengers. The paper also presents and analyses the results obtained during simulations for parameters like number of vehicles v/s efficiency, delay and alert messages for DSRC, WAVE and LTE, LTE-A communication standard protocols. The result shows that as number of vehicles increases DSRC, WAVE protocols are less efficient, more delay and less number of alert messages sent to vehicles on roads. We conclude that LTE and LTE-A are the suitable standards for vehicular cloud data communication with respect to data dissemination.",
