Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic public health orders preventing in-person practice radically disrupted usual practice. To thrive in difficult circumstances, many practitioners quickly pivoted to Telehealth consultations to ensure safe and continuous practice compliant with public health orders and restrictions. During this time, Torrens University Australia student-led naturopathic and herbal medicine clinic rapidly developed a professional standard Telehealth service. This presentation will examine the importance of Telehealth in professional practice, identify Telehealth competencies and explore the role of Telehealth in future proofing practice.
